When it comes to what makes up my tribe, it would have to be built on the relationship aspect and not on numbers. I find that my tribe is mostly family and colleagues. These are the people that support me and encourage me to be the best I can be. I hope to reach some unknown others to join my tribe but I am not one to pine over others’ acceptance. I am going to do what I want to do and not wait for there to be an audience.
My hope would be that I could reach other educators to join my tribe and want to engage in conversation with me. A tribe is not something I really seek and this might be bad for a blog post. I know when I am trying to create a Networked Learning Space, I will need people in my tribe to network and to grow my space with others. This is a challenge for me because I don’t seek others approval or worry about others that I could influence. I will do my best to create a tribe for this aspect of my professional growth and learning.
I agree with you it’s not about the numbers or views it’s about being a part of a tribe that helps you grow. I have joined your tribe and look forward to reading and sharing additional resources.
